Who They Are
Re:Think was created by Jim after going through a difficult time in his life. He wanted to make positive changes and started to think of ways he could improve his health. He wanted to create a delicious ice cream that was healthy without lacking on flavor. His mission was to create an ice cream with added benefits that supports people’s healthy lifestyles. With the help of a personal trainer and food scientist, this journey ultimately led to the creation of Re:THINK Ice Cream. The company also makes sure to give back and partner with numerous schools and charities.
What Is It Made of and What Are the Added Benefits?
Re:Think ice cream’s new recipe is made with lactose-free A2/A2 Dairy which means it does not contain the A1 protein that is often known to cause digestive problems. Re:Think is also the first ice cream company to contain collagen. Collagen has many health benefits such as improving skin elasticity, strengthening nails and hair, boosts metabolism and provides structure to bones, tendons and cartilage, just to name a few. Each of the twelve, very thoughtful and innovative flavors, contains around 150 calories and around 10 grams of fat and protein. Each of the flavors has less than 10 g net carbs making this a keto-friendly treat.

How Does It Taste?
I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and texture of the flavors I tried. If you told me this was a low-carb ice-cream I wouldn’t have believed you since it is so rich-tasting and creamy. The Chocolate Majesty was my favorite with a dark rich crunch of chocolate in every bite. I also enjoyed the plain vanilla and plan to use it for some of my other low-carb ice cream desserts. I cannot wait to try the Mint with Chocolate Flakes and Strawberry with Chia Seed. There are so many different flavors, you can be sure to find one that you’ll like!

How Was It on My Blood Sugars?
The first time I tried the Chocolate Majesty, I took minimal insulin and spiked. After a little trial and error, I figured out the right amount of insulin and it is no longer an issue. With most of these flavors netting out under 10 g of carbs, I look forward to experimenting some more!
